ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm a 27-year-old informatics graduate from the University of Oslo, where I recently finished a master’s degree in Design, Use and Interaction.
My master’s thesis, "Tune in to tech: From user experiences to design insight", looked at how we can use the experiences of people with functional variations, like deafblindness, to design better podcast solutions. I explored how we can design better podcast experiences by combining universal design, WCAG and user insights from people with different functional needs such as deafblindness.
I started out in psychology, but switched paths when I discovered informatics. It combined my interest in people and technology in a way that made sense. During my studies, I also explored cybersecurity, sustainability, transformative design, and programming. I’ve worked with Python, Java, SQL, Kotlin, Arduino C++ and some React.
Alongside my studies, I’ve taught seminars in participatory design, development, co-creation and user-centered design at the University of Oslo. I’ve also been an examiner in courses on both design and programming.
